The monarch life cycle - First flight

Next morning, we found our newborn butterfly still in its cage, hanging next to its empty chrysalis. |
Perhaps it was too cold. Let's place the cage in the sun and see what happens! |
It worked! Now warmed up, the monarch begins opening and closing its new wings. |

Still somewhat clumsy, our butterfly fell down to the bottom of the cage. This time though, we can see that he is just fine. |
